With its iconic blend of artistic innovation and elegance, Duca del Cosma brings modern design and the finest craftsmanship to its new 2019 Spring/Summer lifestyle collection. This September, the luxury brand – a favourite with experienced golfers – will launch its men’s lifestyle collection at the 2019 Annual Men’s Health Menswear Fashion Show, boasting functional golf sport elements with Italian stylishness. Be it high-top sneakers, minimalistic or bold – the launch promise designs that are ideal for both street and professional looks. Here are a few stand out styles and looks that will be featured at the show this year:
Bold & iconic
Based on where the fashion industry is headed, fashion designers are investing in bold statement pieces. You can expect to see more of this in Duca del Cosma’s SS19 collection; The Cosmo, for instance, stylishly combines the striking brand logo with bold & contrasting neutral colours. The 90s inspired chunky ultra-light white outsole boasts an iconic look and feel.
The ‘camo’ trend has made a massive comeback in women’s fashion over the past year; however, it is only starting to gain momentum in the men’s department. This fashion trend is a must-have for men in 2019, as it consists of more than the traditional camo colours. Duca del Cosma are matching colours to reflect the traditional pattern while keeping it simple and stylish with The Pontino Navy.
Another 90s fashion trend that is increasing amongst women, and slowly making headway in the men’s department, are textured silhouettes. The Palermo is made from velvet suede combined with full grain leather uppers and Lyra perforations.
This year the brand will turn things up a notch. Following from its the incredible collaboration with Craig Jacobs in 2018, designer of a local brand, Fundudzi; new designs will continue to show the South African fashion industry quality craftsmanship. As Craig stated, after the 2018 event: “…I think that Duca has really set the tone for introducing a golf brand which blends fashion and technology. And, by showing that the kicks can move from the course to the catwalk, there are bound to be a whole lot more interest going forward!”
